The Role
As the successful Interim National Account Manager you will be responsible for the management and strategic development of the Tesco account relationship, ensuring our client achieves their customer management goal and key objectives. You will be expected to work with appropriate internal teams (category management, marketing, supply chain, technical, R&D) to define strategy and ensure execution of agreed plans.

The successful National Account Manager will:

  • Currently hold the position of, National Account Manager, National Account Executive or equivalent.
  • Commercial background within a branded environment
  • High level of personal resilience and ability to stand their ground when placed under direct pressure
  • Have the ability to plan, think on their feet and negotiate effectively
  • Demonstrable use of category management approach to sales with wholesale customers
  • Ideally be degree educated or equivalent

In return you will receive a day rate between £300 - £350 per day.

Location is flexible for the right person, but must be able to get to the office at least 2 days a week in the Home Counties.
