Plum is the UK’s market leading outdoor toy supplier, recently adding a range of indoor activity play items to its product portfolio. The company’s product ranges are marketed throughout the UK through major high street retailers, specialist independent retailers, and distributed to consumers through the expanding channel of E commerce both in the UK and internationally.
Plum is now looking to further develop its market leading position in both the outdoor and Indoor play market and now seeks to appoint with immediate effect an experienced Senior/National Account Manager.
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the ideal candidate will have hands-on experience of managing a portfolio of major UK retail accounts. The main purpose of this role will be to develop, manage and control a portfolio of National Accounts within the UK, to achieve or exceed agreed sales and profit targets in line with company objectives, and to both range sell to existing customers, and develop new customers. The individual will work closely with the Management Team to develop and maintain Plum as the market leading brand in its product sectors.
Working as a senior member of the Plum sales team, with new purpose built offices and showroom facilities in Ingham near Lincoln, we would expect this role to be 1 day in the office, while the rest of the week spent dealing with customers.
Relevant experience in the Toy sector would be beneficial but not essential.
