Marketing and Digital Manager – Toy, Gift, Home & Garden, Outdoor

Up to 65k + Bonus

Home Based with time spent in Midlands.

As a rapidly growing business that operate across a range of categories including Toys, Gift, Housewares and Outdoor, our client has turnover of over £9 Million in the UK. Established within the last three years, they are a strongly backed business that have continuously doubled their turnover year on year since they were established. They are an importer, distributor and manufacturer of a range of notable brands and are looking to continue their growth with the addition of a Marketing and Digital Manager.

As Marketing and Digital Manager within this exciting business, you will be tasked with managing the whole UK marketing operation. Reporting to the MD, you will be responsible for developing a strategy to increase the presence of a number of brands to continue the growth of the business. You will be involved in marketing through a range of methods including trade journals, online and TV advertising with complete autonomy on how you plan to build brand awareness within each product category. You will be responsible for the set-up of a new website for the business, allowing customers to purchase directly from them, by either using your own skills or through partnering with an agency. Direct reports and the management of a team are a probability further down the line following success in this role.

To be considered for this excellent opportunity you must have previous experience within a similar role and a proven track record of growing brands and increasing awareness within a non-food consumer goods business. You must be prepared to take on a challenge and develop a strategy from scratch. You may currently be an ambitious individual at a Brand Manager or similar level looking for more responsibility. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic and strategic, with website building/maintenance and man management skills being advantageous but not essential. Success in this role could lead to further responsibility within a strong, growing business.
