Sales Manager - East or West Midlands based

Your challenge:

We already deliver more than 30% of the fresh milk consumed in the UK every day but we’ve big ambitions to do better. Great sales management plays a big part in our plans. Now our commercial team, needs another talented Sales Manager to drive up sales and profit among new and existing customers. You will also work closely with the operations team to spot opportunities to increase cost efficiency, whilst improving customer service…two key elements of our commercial strategy. You will:

• Grow sales in the current customer base and cold call and convert potential new  customers
• Promote the Muller-Wiseman brand and introduce and promote added value products
• Conduct monthly reviews of your customer portfolio using “methods of  improvement” and build productive customer relationships
• Manage price negotiations and use category management information to develop  dairy business

Key skills & experience:

This is a creative sales opportunity for a determined and “can do” sales professional who can think outside the box to build business. You must have:

• Excellent time management, prioritising, planning and numeracy skills
• Experience of dairy industry products and understanding of the market
• Well-developed presentation, negotiation, relationship-building and account  management skills plus a full UK driving licence
• IT literacy including MS Excel and PowerPoint
