A highly respected sector leader, supplying chilled food products to the major multiples and foodservice sector, our client has an unrivalled reputation for innovation, product quality and customer service. This is a key role in the development and implementation of medium to long term strategic growth plans.

You will be a hands-on, highly numerate manager with a strong eye for detail, backed by a small team, with responsibility across all spend areas of the business. Your strong interpersonal and negotiation skills will enable you to build strong commercial relationships at all levels – from factory floor to board level, both internally and externally. Fundamental to the role is an innovative approach to cost control and a keen desire to deliver market opportunities to the commercial teams and ultimately the customers.

Able to work under pressure with a very positive attitude, you will have broad experience of the commercial environment within the UK retail and food manufacturing sectors. A proven track record of developing excellent working relationships with customers and suppliers is essential. An understanding of foreign cultures would also be advantageous in today’s global marketplace.
