Job Details

Tata Global Beverages focuses on branded natural beverages- tea, coffee and water. We are the second largest player in branded tea in the world. 250 million servings of our brands are consumed every day around the world.

Tata Global Beverages’ annual turnover is US$1.4bn. The business has diversified and expanded significantly over the last decade. The company now employs around 3,000 people and through its brands, it has significant presence in over 40 countries worldwide. We have a range of innovative regional and global beverage brands, including: Tata Tea, Tetley, Good Earth, Jemca, Vitax, Eight o’clock, Himalayan, Grand and Laager.

Reporting to the Director of Sales for Western Europe, your role will be to drive sales of TATA tea products through distributors across a range of Countries in Southern Europe, including Spain, Greece, Cyprus and Malta.

As an integral part of the EMEA team, with a strong focus on relationship building, you will deliver financial, volume and trading objectives across the region. We’ll expect you to take responsibility for managing the commercial relationship with the distributor in each market. A varied role, you will also implement budget and market plans, manage an agreed promotional plan and determine the correct product, pricing and NPD strategy in each market.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have experience and understanding of how to drive forward commercial relationships with distributors. A development role within our EMEA structure, you will be given lots of space to deliver results so we’re looking for a self-starter who has the ability to work independently. This is broader than just a sales role so you will need to demonstrate a strong ability to launch NPD, manage A&P budgets and influence stakeholders both externally and internally. You may or may not have had previous export sales experience however you’ll be comfortable with extensive international travel.
