We are currently looking to recruit a Shopper & Trade Marketing Executive to develop and deliver a consistent ‘Look of Success’ for our brands within Grocery, Cash and Carry, Convenience and Dispense, based on the needs of our shoppers and consumers. Reporting to our Shopper Marketing Manager, you will be working across the marketing and sales teams for Vimto UK Grocery, Convenience, Cash and Carry and Dispense in order to fully understand the needs of our customers, ensuring our plans meet their requirements whilst simultaneously delivering value to our business. Your role will be focussed on BTL activity and you will need to keep abreast of the changing marketplace through regular communication with customers and spending time in outlets. Using this knowledge, you will ensure all trade and shopper marketing opportunities are exploited, in a way that is tailored to each specific channel. For example, you will be responsible for designing and delivering POP (Point Of Purchase) with our internal creative team, and then communicating these plans internally (for example to the Field Sales Team). You will be responsible for the management of all Point Of Purchase materials, merchandise and Vimto branded collateral ensuring that the right materials and volumes are ordered and delivered on time and within budget, including the management of our trade shows stands and kit and supporting the sales team at trade shows.

Online is a growing channel for shoppers and trade and this is reflected in the strategic intent to grow and focus online within Vimto and our external partners. Therefore this role will be responsible for ensuring we optimise Vimto’s online presence, encompassing our imagery, descriptions and making recommendations to facilitate our online growth strategy.

Applicants will need to be creative, driven and personable with successful commercial experience in a branded FMCG business. Ideally you will have some prior experience in marketing whether that be brand, trade or shopper focussed, although sales experience is also seen as an advantage. Part of this role involves presenting to both internal and external stakeholders; therefore you will need to be an excellent communicator and confident speaker with strong PowerPoint skills. Of graduate calibre, the successful candidate will be an enthusiastic team player who embraces and drives change.
