Job Details
We are currently working with a highly regarded and leading food manufacturing business who are looking to strengthen their team with the appointment of a Group Procurement Manager. This person will have experience of food buying in a previous role and be looking for their next step.
The Role:-
- Utilising category management principles in order to develop strategies and execute them successfully
- Manage numerous tendering processes ensuring the best value is achieved for the business
- Developing and managing strategic supplier relationships, ensuring performance is monitored regularly.
The Candidate:-
- Will have previous food procurement experience, ideally in an ingredients format, but this isn't essential.
- Will be a good negotiator and be able to deal with multiple scenarios at the same time
- Will be results oriented and demonstrate innovative thinking at all stages of processes
