This leading global drinks business is seeking a Key Account Manager to join their company and offers an exciting and leading position with a world renowned firm with endless opportunities.

The Person

We are looking for someone who can deliver increased distribution of the brand across their region by developing key relationships within wholesalers, leased/tenanted and regional brewer customers.

Do you have?

a)An excellent understanding of the on trade drinks industry

b)Experience with dealing with key accounts within this sector

c)A strong desire to succeed and implement action plans to secure results

 

Working with this iconic global brand, the key responsibilities are:

  • Take ownership of their territory by identifying opportunity for brand development within strategically important regional accounts
  • Target key accounts to further develop the brand portfolio
  • Create and implement activity plan for key Route to Market customers
  • Responsible for managing installations/draught process/wholesaler and leased tenanted quality programme
  • Sell in and authorise draught installs in line with premium brand quality
  • Manage the budget spend through account Trade Investment to ensure cost effectiveness
  • Work with the marketing, brand and sales team and share best practice with the RTM’s
  • Assist with training and development of the sales team and be an ambassador for the brand at all times

 

Key Qualities for the role:

  • Desire to win
  • Has proven sales/marketing experience within On Trade drinks industry
  • Worked within a major FMCG company and/or drinks background
  • Has experience of managing major accounts within the industry
  • Must have a sound working knowledge of both the area of business and the channel of trade
  • Can demonstrate understanding  of brand plans at Point of Purchase
  • Is able to demonstrate a track record of delivering and managing a number of key projects at the same time
  • Ability to present and communicate verbally to a high standard
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work on their own
  • Demonstrates strong relationships with previous customers
  • Structured selling skills demonstrated
  • Is responsible and trustworthy
  • Can take ownership of a project and is committed to achieving results
