The Role

As a National Account Manager for Retail accounts, you will be responsible for growing your business across an exciting and diverse portfolio of exceptional products. You will be responsible for developing strong relationships your customers, specifically understanding the needs of their end-users and what marketing support works best within their market. You will be expected to manage JBPS, Trade Activation, NPD launches, Supply-Chain effectiveness and importantly - Negotiations. As business manager, you will be tasked with providing sustainable growth that targets profit and brand strength over volume.

The Person

An experienced Account Manager or Junior National Account Manager, within a major branded player, you will be looking to step into more stretching and autonomous role, which will see you taking accountability for delivery across a greater number of account functions. Dynamic, driven and passionate about food, you will have an excellent academic record and will be hungry for a major strategic role in the top 10% of FMCG suppliers. With experience of negotiation, NPD launches, management of trade-spend, you will have an excellent understanding of the complexity of the grocery retail market. Passionate about the brand, you will understand how to use this to unlock opportunities within the customer. Moving forwards, you will have head-room to develop into a larger role within this European business and will be ambitious to demonstrate that you are a leader of the future. A strong training academy and excellent mentorship scheme are in place to ensure you achieve this.
