We are working with a leading brand based in Scotland, who is looking to strengthen their procurement team, with a category purchasing manager. You will responsible for a number of product categories, where you will identify and deliver PIP on your categories, ensure that continuity of supply is delivered to the factory, and that best value and quality is achieved at all times.

The role
  • Implement category strategies
  • Supplier selection
  • Category reviews, tenders and contracts
  • Lead the NPD with innovation from suppliers
  • Supplier performance monitoring



The candidate
  • A strong commercial background within a FMCG business
  • 3-5 yrs experience as a buyer or category manager
  • Experience of procuring raw materials and ingredients
  • Good communication skills at all levels
  • Flexible approach to work.
