Regional Strategy Manager

This is a rare opportunity to join the team of one of the most highly regarded businesses in FMCG as a Regional Strategy Manager. The business is one which is recognised across the globe and is a destination employer within consumer goods.

The Regional Strategy Manager role sits in the global marketing and innovation team and is responsible for influencing A&P decisions in the region based on country insights.

As a senior manager within the Regional Marketing team you will deliver thought leadership through consistently unlocking powerful insight that delivers excellence within marketing and innovation.

You will own the annual investment plan for the portfolio ensuring that investment decisions are based on reputable sources and are in line with the regional strategy.

As well as all this you will drive greater ROI through understanding insights and identify opportunities or underperformance in order to make investment decisions. You will also use market and consumer insight to be the expert in competitor intelligence.

Finally you will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities within the portfolio and will build business cases for them.

To apply for this role you will display:

• Experience in insights, strategy or consumer planning ideally within a global or regional role
• The ability to influence across a broad network of stakeholders within a global organisation
• High potential with the ability to progress within the organisation within 18 months
• Strong analytical skills across multiple data sources within qual and quant
• The ability to make rational decisions when data does not exist
• Willingness to travel overseas regularly throughout the region
