This is an exciting opportunity for a commercial professional who has experience working for a branded FMCG business at NAE level, who is now ready for the step-up to NAM level. The company is at the forefront of the UK grocery channel within category and has continued to grow through big investment in marketing and innovation.



Reporting in to the grocery controller, you will have responsibility for the P&L and support the delivery of the Joint Business Plan objectives along with meeting customer demands. The successful candidate will have the ability to develop account strategies in accordance with overall channel strategy and deliver joint business plans. You will conduct regular reviews of business performance and promotion strategies whilst partnering with the Customer Marketing Manager in promotional development.



The successful candidate will have the following criteria:-



- Sound experience of working with buyers at national account head office level

- Classically FMCG Blue Chip trained working for a leading brand

- Forecast, budget and track account revenues and cost

- Joint Business Planning experience

- Customer relationship management through selling and negotiation

- Ability to effectively monitor category performance versus plan and communicate accordingly

- Strong analytical skills, critical thinking skills and problem solving skills

- Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written

- Degree educated

- Must be comfortable with visiting Head Office in the Midlands 2 days per week.
