Our client is an FMCG giant with a hugely successful portfolio of products known and loved by all. In order to support their continued success within grocery retail a new National Accounts Grocery Implant role has been created, which will see the successful candidate based within a retailers head office, providing analytical information and presentation support to the Senior National Account Manager to influence the customer where possible.

Key responsibilities:



· To provide information and analysis to the Senior National Account Manager to support the development of presentations and negotiations.

· To build effective relationships with the customer, to provide information on day to day order status and make appropriate decisions.

· To implement all key supply initiatives at Regional and Store level.

· To collate information from the customer, and provide timely information for input in to the customer forecast for the Senior National Account Manager.

· To work alongside the Senior National Account Manager, to support the execution and volume associated with the JBP at a regional level.

· In conjunction with the Shopper Marketing team, coordinate with the Customers field sales force (where in existence) to optimise the activation of business tactics.



Ideally you will possess at least 12 months sales experience gained within a top 5 grocery retailer but candidates with FMCG sales experience at a head office level would also be of great interest. You will be highly numerate and analytical with proven ability to interpret and evaluate complex data. Your ability to develop relationships will be paramount to your success in the role as you will represent our client within their retail head office, so forging strong working relationships is essential to success.

An understanding of forecasting and supply chain would be an advantage as you will be responsible for ensuring the customer has enough stock to cover promotional periods. This is a stepping stone into a head office National Accounts role; candidates must possess drive and ambition to succeed and progress within the business.
