Our Commercial Strategy Team leads on strategy development for Mars Chocolate, driving forward the success of global brands like M&M's, Mars, Snickers and Twix for a company producing other iconic brands such as Uncle Ben’ s, Dolmio and Whiskas. The team continually analyses shopper, customer and business needs to deliver optimal Price and Promotional Strategies. And this is a role with a difference, taking the lead in developing the Bitesize Segment strategy and influencing senior associates on commercial opportunities with your ideas.
So as Commercial Strategy Manager, in a broad-ranging role reporting to the Commercial Strategy Director, you’ll act as key interface between Sales, Marketing, CMI and Finance to deliver effective business plans.
That will mean:
· Leading on the pricing strategy for the Bitesize Segment
· Providing clear direction for the trade promotional plan
· Defining and providing clear recommendations for growth to the UK Management Team.
Additionally, being a Commercial Strategy Manager is a superb opportunity to learn about broad business drivers and one which has high visibility to senior stakeholders.
Educated to Degree level with excellent planning, analytical and interpretation skills, you’ll have a clear track record of delivering strong FMCG results within a commercial/consumer environment. Combining sales, category or finance experience, you’ll be a first-class all-round communicator, able to influence and achieve buy-in at senior level. Preferably you will have experience in a related role to a Commercial Strategy Manager, such as Channel/Revenue & Growth/Commercial Manager or National Account/Category Manager. Of course you’ll be highly numerate, with the abundant enthusiasm and drive for results to succeed.
