Business Development Manager - Cookware

Location: South East, South West and Midlands


The Role:

Business Development required for award winning, expanding cookware provider. This field based sales role will involve focusing on generating new business, together with account management of an existing client base.

You will be selling to Key/Regional accounts across hotels, restaurants, bar chains, hospitals, education and local authorities via catering equipment & foodservice distributors. The main territory is Birmingham down to Bristol and over to London.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will have total autonomy in the role, with responsibility for designated sales targets and portfolio growth, enabling you to run your business unit cost effectively ensuring development of your customer base and an increase in growth and distribution.

Your role will focus on forging new relationships, winning new business and then in turn building up and account managing the clients you bring on board. Consultative based sales process. You will have great networking skills, focusing on developing strong long term relationships and partnerships with all clients.

You will have an excellent support and backup structure, together with a strong training and development program to ensure you are as successful as possible. Excellent time to join the organisation.

Ideal opportunity for a proven Area Sales Manager to step up to a role with more responsibility and dealing with larger accounts.

Requirements:

A strong account manager, with excellent account management skills.
Proven track record of generating new business
Proven experience of working in the foodservice industry. You could have worked for a foodservice provider or have sold to foodservice companies.
Experience in the catering sector desired.
Strong relationship builder.
Consultative sales ability.
Honest, reliable, trustworthy.
Highly tenacious and proactive.
Work well under pressure.
Target driven.
Strong territory management and time management skills.


Package:

Basic Salary: £32,000
Commission: 20% Bonus
