Sales Development Manager Premier Chocolate (PC)
Location: Shirebrook, Derbyshire
Job Summary:
- Premier Chocolate is looking for a sales development manager that wants to join a business within the chocolate production field. The ideal candidate is someone that is passionate about his role, with great communication skills, valuable experience and knowledge, is a problem solver with a creative mind-set.
- To develop new customer relationships to PC
- To meet company sales & profit forecasts with all existing customers
- To develop new ranges with customers & generally for PC to sell across the customer base
- To liaise with PC licensed import suppliers in the development of new products which could be sold in the UK, and sales of their existing products in the UK
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure the delivery of sales and profit
- To develop NPD ideas in conjunction with the existing customer base
- To work with the factory team to ensure that customer service is a top priority
- To produce a monthly sales forecast within a tolerance of +/- 10% accuracy
- To liaise with the QA Manager to ensure that customer standards are always respected
- To create new product ideas which will be commercially viable
- To work with PC licensed suppliers in sourcing packaging and other materials needed to deliver the customer range(s).
Experience:
Essential Experience-
- Minimum 3 years Sales experience, including handling top 4 Grocery multiple accounts in an FMCG environment. B2B sales experience also desirable.
- Minimum 2 years NPD experience – ideally within FMCG environment (confectionery or Impulse categories desirable).
- Evidence of developing a range of products which have proven success in a retail environment.

- Excellent interpersonal skills including an ability to communicate at all levels.
- Pro-active self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude, enthusiasm, high energy levels and a tenacious commitment to work.
- Attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
