BRAND DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE – Scotland

Competitive salary package incl. car, bonus and benefits

SHS Drinks, the brand owner of WKD, is part of the £400m SHS Group – a privately owned FMCG holding company providing a strong financial base and central resources for four divisions operating within brand ownership and Sales & Marketing. The company’s biggest brand, WKD, is not only quirky and fun; it’s also the UK’s number one Ready-to-Drink brand in both the on and off-trade markets. Bottlegreen and Shloer are the company’s key brands in the soft drinks category.

The company have a solid reputation for developing innovative brands their most recent being the launch of “Dead Crow”  (which is a range of two spirit based beers, one rum-flavoured and the other bourbon flavour) which is set to expand the category further by bringing in new consumers within the target market.

To support the ongoing growth and development  of these exciting brands we are now looking for a Brand Development Executive to join our successful team in Scotland. Candidates should already reside in Scotland (ideally in the central belt region or Glasgow/Edinburgh) or be prepared to relocate and must possess a valid UK driving licence.

The role will have a dual focus. As brand ambassador for WKD, you will use your personality and passion to build this brand in nightclubs and bars. You’ll organise promotions, plan and manage events, and maximise brand visibility at the point of purchase. For Dead Crow your remit will be more focused on business development with responsibility for seeking new stockists and points of distribution in on-trade outlets including pubs, bars, clubs and restaurants.

You are likely to be a recent graduate with some relevant sales or marketing work experience gained from an internship or work placement period. Alternatively you may have graduated a while ago and have at least 12 months previous sales experience gained ideally in an on-trade, drinks or bar environment and can display a genuine passion for the drinks industry.

This is a hands-on role with real responsibility that will test your influencing skills from day one. To be successful you will need to display a confident, articulate and persuasive personality, combined with passion and a drive for success.

If you think you’ve got what it takes and are ultimately keen to develop a career with a leading, growing FMCG company then  please click on the apply button giving details of your current salary package in the information box or alternatively email your cv to colin@smithcarey.co.uk  and quoting reference number CB/1613
