We are currently recruiting for a Senior National Account Manager to manage a high profile national retail account for a leading branded business with a strong focus on fashion. The successful Senior National Account Manager will also have management responsibilities for an Account Manager. The role is office based and this is an excellent opportunity for a passionate sales person with proven experience to join a successful company growing year on year.

THE ROLE 

 

The role of the Senior National Account Manager will be responsible for managing a high profile multi channel, national retail account with full P&L accountability forecasting, joint business plans and the creation and delivery or marketing and promotional plans including first class in store execution. In addition you will be responsible for a direct report; setting KPI’s, training, conducting appraisals and analysing achievements versus target to maximise performance. The successful candidate will also play a key role in setting account and channel strategy with the senior management team.

The role will be largely office based in North London

 

 

THE PERSON 

 

To be considered you must have:

  • Graduate calibre with proven track record as a Senior National Account Manager or a high potential National Account Manager ready to take the step into a more senior role with a direct report.
  • Current experience working for a branded business managing national retail accounts at head office level, managing P&L, setting strategy, category management, marketing and in store execution
  • Experience managing High Street, Online or Department Store accounts at Head Office level, ideally within a fashion lead branded environment though similar categories may also be considered.
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Leadership skills including flexibility and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
