National Account Manager – Foodservice & Coffee Sector

Around £40,000 + bonus + car allowance + benefits

THE COMPANY: Established for over 30 years our client is a successful and growing FMCG business with a portfolio of gluten-free products and a reputation for taste, quality and innovation. They are in a strong position to continue their success and have an environment and culture which encourages their people to take responsibility and make a difference. They have strong financial backing and given consumer trends and the strength of their products they have the plans to grow their business by 50% in the next 5 years.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will build on their success and develop a plan to further grow sales and profits within the foodservice and coffee sector. This will be with national wholesalers such as Brakes and 3663 and group of national accounts within the HORECA marketplace. There is also a big opportunity within the UK’s 16,000 independent coffee shops which you will unlock by building links with coffee wholesalers throughout the UK.  You will take responsibility for delivering sales and profitability targets and you must be able to seize opportunities and proactively develop new business.

ABOUT YOU: You are a proven Key or National Account Manager, with experience and contacts within the foodservice sector and importantly a passion for sales and developing new business. Ideally you have experience within the coffee sector however you must be able to develop strong relationships and build profitable new business. You are comfortable with data, analysis and reporting and your planning and organisational skills are strengths. Above all though it is your passion, enthusiasm and a can do attitude which deliver your success.
