Job Details

This is the chance to work with a really good business that is enjoying excellent growth and has it's sights on continued expansion in both domestic and international markets.

The role will take responsibility for two key channels involving several major multiples and a number of foodservice businesses and has a direct report with indrect involvement with others in the group. As a challenger brand it is important you understand the need for managing long term relationships where you need to punch above your weight as often as possible.

You will be expected to:

·         develop and deliver an annual strategic account plan

·         meet category and brand objectives

·         work closely with the Sales Controller to manage the National Accounts

·         build strong promotional plans alongside the Head of Marketing

·         identify new business opportunities and trading relationships

·         ensure accurate and timely reporting on account profitability, ROS, costs etc

·         share best practice with regional teams

This role will best suit an inspiring NAM looking to stretch themselves further and test their ability to manage senior relationships that are key to the business. The P&L for this area is about 35% of the company turnover and they are targeting growth in the short term of at least 25% - so this is a key appointment for them.

In any smaller business then character and flexibility are key. Key skills which must be shown are:

·         experience of multiple off-trade sales arenas

·         foodservice knowledge would be beneficial

·         drinks or premium brands sector awareness

·         excellent relationship and negotation skills

·         strong analytical and data management skills
