Nationwide (Home Based)

£28,000 - £35,000 + Bonus, & Competitive package

Our Client takes great pride in being the UK's market leading manufacturer & distributor of quality, authentic own-label and branded world foods. Boasting an extensive portfolio of products, they sell into the local and multiple channels as well as foodservice sector. In the last several years they've experienced an average of 25% Year-on-Year growth resulting in an impressive annual turnover of 100m last year (2013). As part of their plans to continue on this path of growth they are now looking to expand and develop their foodservice side of the company and as such as looking for Business Development Managers to join their team.

Working for a business with an impeccable reputation for always delivering the highest in quality and commitment to its customers, our client is looking for likeminded individuals to work with them to help continue their recent success into the future. Reporting directly to the Head of Foodservice, the role focusses on developing business with independent and multiple retail and end users as well as looking at developing their presence with Manufacturers. Working from home with occasional visits to their South East offices you will be responsible for sourcing new business on a local and national level. A successful candidate would use their network along with this well-developed business name and reputation to develop their business. Ideally, they would also have experience of selling into end users as well as a proven track record of developing business within previous or current roles. A background in food manufacturing is also highly desirable.
