Job Details

The client is a major player in the Home Appliance & Consumables market and they are renowned for their strong brands and innovation.

They are now seeking a dedicated and talented Key Account Manager who will be responsible for a portfolio of consumables, managing this area in their Trade Partners. This is an already established route to market but the individual would be responsible to drive growth for UK and Ireland and should be therefore dynamic and with the ability to take personal leadership as a business manager.

Working collectively with the Head of Sales - UK, National Account Team, Trade Marketing Manager, Category Manager and Customer Services, you will develop and drive the strategy to broaden the distribution across non-core Trade Partners. You will effectively manage all key processes associated with Forecasting, Promotional Campaigns, Communications, New Production Introduction and Price and be able to increase profitability through effective use of PMR (Price Margin Realisation) by driving product and account mix improvements.

The ideal candidate will be of graduate caliber and will have at least 3 years extensive Sales and Account management experience. You will be exceptionally numerate and have a high level of commercial acumen. It is essential that you have the ability to take personal leadership as a business manager to pro-actively deliver results through engaging organisational teams to work cross functionally. With strong knowledge of FMCG, Category Management, and / or working within SDA and consumables, you will display evidence of driving exceptional sales growth. Candidates must be highly self-motivated, demonstrate passion, team player with a flexible and can-do' attitude and ability to work with pace and under pressure within tight deadlines in a competitive environment

Candidates should have strong ambition as the company is looking for an individual with potential who after growing this role would then progress into National Accounts. Experience of working with Currys/Dixons account would be highly advantageous.
