Greencore Grocery, based in Selby North Yorkshire, is the UK's leading manufacturer of meal components that add flavour and convenience to meal making. We have an extensive range of nearly 600 products predominantly centred around Own Brand cooking sauces, pickles and table sauces supplied to grocery retail, food service, wholesale and cash and carry customers.
This is a fabulous opportunity to join a vibrant sales team within an industry leading food manufacturing business, embarking on a new strategic plan to develop our core business both in the UK and Europe.
As a leading FMCG business we are looking for an exceptional Business Account Manager, reporting directly into the Commercial Controller.
Responsible for an account portfolio centered around our independent customers (e.g. Iceland, Spar etc) who present Greencore Grocery with a huge growth opportunity over the coming years. To maximise this potential the role needs to be filled by a tenacious and commercially astute account manager with a 'can do' attitude.
Key accountabilities for the roles are:
* Responsible for achieving budgeted sales and profit targets
* Drive account profitability
* Develop and Implement tactical and strategic account plans
* Forecasting accuracy
* Maximise promotional opportunities
* Drive Category Management opportunities in conjunction with marketing
* Regular customer meetings to build relationships
* Responsible for all day to day administration internal and external
You will need to be passionate, persuasive and driven to achieve challenging yet highly rewarding targets. Applicants must also have relevant FMCG sales experience in an account management environment.
Working Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00, in return we are offering a generous package which includes a car, healthcare, contributory pension, share saver option and 25 days holiday per year.
