Exceptionally talented Business Development Manager required for an international Consumer Goods business that is looking to launch and grow quickly in the UK.

Role description

This is a high profile role in the commercial team that will drive the strategic development of a number of key retail/trade partnerships. This position has the potential to gradually build a branch office and a commercial team in the UK and could ultimately be promoted to UK Country Manager. Some of the duties and responsibilities will include:

• Consistent implementation of international strategy regarding pricing, product introduction etc.

• Plan and execute a new business strategy which maximises the opportunity to close deals in the UK retail sector (focusing on Grocery and Hardware)and give further definition to Energetic's market strategy.

• Delivery around quality and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

• Communicating effectively and regularly with the various Energetic teams and continually sharing best practice.

• Working in close collaboration with the Energetic headquarters to align overall strategic growth.

• Gleaning and providing regular feedback about the general market conditions, trends and competitor's moves in the UK market to the Energetic headquarters.

 

Who we're looking for

In order to meet the high demands of a dynamic and ambitious company you will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, resourceful and resilient; able to demonstrate a sense of urgency, momentum, self discipline and drive to get things done.

• Action and bottom-line results orientated coupled with an ability to demonstrate previous success in sales and sales growth within a Retail Consumer and/or Hardware field.

• Strong personal presence with highly-tuned presentation and negotiation skills; able to effectively promote the Company's business model and capabilities and reinforce the Company's positioning relative to competitors.

• Significant experience and demonstrable track record in consumer sales, preferably in lighting retail (consumer goods).

• Commercially astute with the ability to mould market information into account action plans.

Energetic Lighting Europe NV is responsible for the European Sales & Marketing, Distribution, Product Management and Customer Service. They are now looking to expand their reach into the UK Consumer market and are looking to hire an exceptional Sales person to assist them in creating that UK footprint.
