Our Client is a market leading, manufacturer and supplier of point-of-sale display and in-store merchandising solutions for leading brands and major high street retail groups. It is the UK subsidiary of an international group and has an unrivalled reputation for the quality of its design capability and the quality of its products.  It has a significant manufacturing capability and creates both standard and bespoke solutions for its blue-chip customers and they are now seeking to recruit a Senior National Account Controller.

As Senior National Account Controller reporting into Board level you will be P+L accountable for a significant part of the UK business and lead an experienced team of national account managers in order to achieve your objectives.  The focus is to deliver the sales plan through strengthening existing client relationships, developing new ones and introducing new innovative solutions into the marketplace. You will need to lead by example, be highly effective in team leadership, development and coaching and the role will also embrace business planning, budgeting, strategy and marketing. 

The client would like to appoint the best talent available for this Senior National Account Controller and through this appointment is looking for an individual with the headroom to grow in this highly progressive and ambitious group.  The successful individual for this Senior National Account Controller role will need to have a good quality university degree and an impressive track record in sales in a similar environment showing progression through to senior sales management and you will also ideally be currently operating within the FMCG space.  Of prime importance is your ability to make a real impact on the performance of your team in the business and specific sector experience of interest to the client includes: point-of-sale; in-store merchandising; packaging; print or creative solutions within the brands/retail customer environment.
