Regional Account Manager

The leading speciality food wholesaler in the UK is now looking to increase its sales team and now has four positions available covering the following areas:

1. North-West England  2. London  3. East Anglia & 4. Scotland

Purpose of the Role: To plan and carry out all sales activities on an assigned regional account area. To be responsible for developing Cotswold Fayre business in all aspects across all speciality retail sectors in order to attain the given targets.

You will be one of a sales team of nine covering the UK & Ireland, in what is a very exciting time for the company.  Our fabulous range has enabled us to see unprecedented growth  within the independent retail sector over the last few years through both new outlets opening and exciting customers buying a lot more from us.

Person Specification: Desirable Personal Qualities

• Highly motivated and capable of managing a large and complex territory.
• Relationship-orientated and able to develop fruitful business relationships across a wide range of retail outlets.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
• Determined to achieve success and results orientated.

Person Specification: Experience Required

• A proven track record in gaining new business and growing existing accounts.
• Computer literate and competent in using Excel spread-sheets and Outlook as a diary and communication tool.
• Demonstrable success in their most recent sales role.
• A minimum of 5 years sales experience in retail sales and preferably in the food retail sector.
• Knowledge of the speciality food market.
• Experience of B2B social media and knowledge of how to use this to develop new opportunities.
• Must have experience of selling to one or more of the following: Farm Shops, Delicatessens, Food Halls, Department Stores & Garden Centres
