The Company:

Tayto Group Limited are the largest British owned crisps and snacks manufacturer operating in the UK across 5 sites. We hold the 3^rd largest category share combined across both brands and retailer brand. Our brands include Golden Wonder, Mr Porky, Midlands, REAL, Jonathan Crisps and Tayto. We work collaboratively with our customers on retailer brand across major multiples, convenience, foodservice and export. Key Responsibilities:

This is a new role working for a Category Controller on Northern based multiple retailers. Core responsibilities include:

• Assisting on range and space analysis
• Conducting own label gap analysis
• Using systems to produce internal performance reports
• Weekly category pricing and changes monitoring
• Issuing new product alerts along with competitor activity monitoring by retailer and across channels
• Monthly reporting using continuous market data
• Communicating main category performance headlines to the wider business
• Developing a good working relationship with all departments and retailers

Whilst office based this role does include store audits so a full UK driving license is essential.

The Candidate:

Degree educated is desirable but not essential. With 1 to 3 years work experience in a similar role, preferably within FMCG. You must have a proven ability to take data and generate actionable insights. Clear, concise communication is key, as well as a collaborative yet focussed working style. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential. Experience of using market and retailer data is preferable e.g. IRi, Nielsen, Kantar, EPOS, Retail Link etc.
