Job Details
This fantastic FMCG business supply both branded and own label products to retail and food service customers. The company`s highly successful marketing function is now seeking a Marketeer to lead a truly market leading brand within its category.
Reporting to the Marketing Director you will be responsible for:
- Brand Planning: Analyse market data and trends identifying market opportunities and threats, brand strengths and weaknesses and to make appropriate recommendations to develop the brand.
- Implement the brand plans, working with all the external/internal agencies to ensure they happen to time/budget and KPIs
- Account Planning: Liaise with Catman and Sales to ensure all relevant marketing information; account specific promotional activity and new product launch information is available and communicated.
- Recommend and execute NPD: work with R & D and operations to maximise potential opportunities for range development as well as product improvements on a continuous basis.
- Recommend product and pricing strategy.
Experience required:
- Preferably a degree or equivalent
- Brand management experience in FMCG / Food industry
- Experience of executing marketing campaigns, managing P&L
- Energy and drive to enthuse the sales team
- Numerate with good analytical skills and ability to make recommendations for action based on data
- Experience of working with IRI or Nielsen and pulling out key insights
