This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking and profitable business that will take your career to the next level. This role will suit a current entry level National Account Manager with a couple of years’ experience looking for a step up.
The Business
This organisation is a well-respected and established branded food business with a number of market leading brands across all channels including grocery, convenience, wholesale and foodservice. Due to a sustained period of growth across their Out of Home business they are searching for a talented and dynamic Key Account Manager to join their growing commercial team. The division is part of a larger group with both branded and private label brands across a wide area of the FMCG spectrum. Brand wise this business is experiencing double digit growth and is undergoing a large marketing push at present feeding their success.
The Role
This role will sit within the lively commercial team where you will be responsible for managing growth across several key clients within their Convenience/Symbol Groups and traditional Out of Home channels. The role will involve the development of long term strategic JBPs and promotional planning as well as an ability to constraints when creating must buy lists for the retailers. This is a fast paced an exciting role dealing with multiple accounts at a central office function which will involve high levels of negotiation and persuasion to get all wholesalers thinking on the same page.
The Person
To be considered you need to possess a deep understanding of the delivered wholesale, convenience or symbol/facia group markets in terms of how the marketplace operates although having dealt with every retailer is not essential. What is essential is the ability to create a clear cut JPB that takes into consideration the shelf constraints across symbol groups as well as the volume deals that attract and buy in the master delivered wholesalers. The ability to react and adapt quickly to change is a must as the role will be spread across constantly evolving accounts.
