To help us achieve our growth ambitions, we are currently looking for a talented National Account Manager to take ownership of our Co-op and Field Sales Team. Reporting into our Commercial Controller, you will hold full P&L responsibility for your accounts, including customer investment. You will demonstrate your success through building and implementing commercially focused joint business plans with customers, managing budget controls and maximising profitability. You will be managing a multi-brand portfolio for which you will be responsible for both the volume and financial forecasting. Working to challenging deadlines, you will be required to deliver new distribution and NPD in line with brand and channel plans. Promotional planning and execution will also be a priority and you will utilise third party sales and trade marketing to execute in store events and tactical initiatives. This role involves day to day use of financial ratios, including investment ROI and evaluation, and so a strong commercial acumen is vital.

Of graduate calibre, applicants require successful experience at Account Management level in a FMCG business. You must be familiar with multi-brand portfolios and will have a track record of managing Retail/Grocery/Wholesale accounts. The successful candidate will clearly demonstrate strong relationship building, negotiation and influencing skills and will have a good understanding of category management and merchandising principles. You will need to have sound IT, budget and report writing skills as well as excellent inter-personal skills. As a person, you should take an open and honest approach to business and exhibit passion and enthusiasm in your work.
