KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Key Account Manager to help us maximize our growth opportunities.
Role Objective:
The aim of the role is to increase business through developing excellent relationships with a wide variety of customers ranging from multiples, independents, discounters and exporters.
Main responsibilities & accountabilities:
- Daily offers sent to customer base and maintaining price records.
- Reviewing previous purchases and look for areas to develop offers.
- Managing orders, paperwork requirements and certain delivery requirements.
- Attend NEC Spring and Autumn Fair representing the company and conducting pre-arranged/new meetings.
- Visiting customers when necessary.
- Developing new customers through face to face meetings & customer calls.
- Responsible for the selling of standard and promotional products as specified by SERT-MST.
- Updating price files and maintain current records.
Key attributes:
- It is essential that the ideal candidate will have product knowledge in health & beauty and household.
- Understanding & awareness of different styles, tailoring the approach by account.
- Engaging and positive influencing style to gain buy in from internal and external contacts.
- Strong commercial understanding.
- Strong IT & process skills.
- Working as part of a team.
- Strong negotiator.
This role will be based at our Head Office in Nottinghamshire although we expect you to travel to customers as required.
