Job Details
We are recruiting an Associate Director to specialise in kids research within the Qualitative team, based in London. SPA Future Thinking have a long history researching kids and families, however we launched our official Kids offer, 'Playground' at the beginning of 2014.
Who are we looking to employ?
The role will be to champion 'Playground' and ensure its continued success. We are looking for someone who can bring their own enthusiasm, knowledge and excitement to help further grow the offer, to establish it as a leading kids research offer in the marketplace
This will include attending pitches and helping develop the additional elements of the offer such as Our Families, the relationship with Monitors, Chatter (our weekly online community), in addition to day to day project work. You would be expected to manage approx 2-4 projects at any one time as well as support the ADs and Directors in the team.
The role is also likely to include working on other qualitative projects within the team, so demonstrable experience in broader qualitative approaches is key.
Your role will involve:
Proposal support and writing, including suggesting methodologies and approach
Project set up, writing discussion guides and recruitment documents, overseen by senior members of the team
Moderating viewed sessions
Providing support and guidance to more junior team members throughout the research process
Writing reports with minimal input
Jointly presenting findings to clients
Helping to develop new business opportunities and developing the Playground offer
What we want from you
Proven qualitative experience with a solid base in a UK Research Agency is essential
Experience of and enthusiasm for working with kids and families is a MUST
Proven experience of proposal writing and project management from start to completion
Good analytical and writing skills
Strong client handling skills and presentation skills
Knowledge and experience of online qual techniques
Experience in moderating groups
Articulate, creative and ambitious
Enthusiastic and actively looking to develop their role
Great attention to detail
Pro-active, creative thinker
Will bring new ways of thinking and ideas for developing qual practices, especially within the kids sector
Able to work within a close team as well as on their own
Good organisational skills and diary management
