NATIONAL ACCOUNT CONTROLLER
{Ideal Location : Midlands}

The role is UK field based, with occasional trips to Europe and a requirement to be at Head Office (Port Glasgow) @ once per fortnight. Reporting to the Managing Director you will be required to:-
- Actively manage, motivate and further develop the National Account Team (currently 3 National Account Managers), into a high performance team.
- Maximise sales results in order to achieve both short-term sales plans and to build/secure long term business relationships.
- Maximise profitability by driving product mix across our enviable portfolio of market leading brands, throughout your personal and team’s account base.
- Prepare and execute Business Plans for your own customers and assist your team with such documents, ensuring that there are clear promotional plans in place, which will deliver the expected Business results.
- Deliver accurate and timeous Sales Forecasts for your own account base and that of your team, in order that inventory can be managed with a view to “minimising” obsolete and excess stock.
- Become a role model and champion of change.
- Develop strong inter-departmental relationships, to the benefit of all stakeholders.
We are looking for a confident, self-motivated individual, who will be an inspirational leader to their Team and colleagues alike, possessing and displaying a “can do” attitude.
As such, this opportunity will appeal to a Senior/Experienced Account Manager, preferably from within the Outdoor/Sports Industry, who can succesfully demonstrate strong leadership skills and sales achievement to date.
Your personal attributes, will include excellent communication, social and organisational skills, an enthusiastic and outgoing personality, in addition to possessing a good working knowledge of MOS.
