Job Details
My Client is a chilled food manufacturer seeking a Category Marketing Manager to be based in either Nottinghamshire or Lincolnshire.
This is a great time to join this growing business supplying Major Retailers with branded and own label products. As such as Category Marketing Manager you will have worked with Retailer customers such as Tesco and Sainsbury's or have worked with branded food products. Knowledge of chilled product categories would be an advantage.
As Category Manager you will be able to conduct full range reviews using Kantar and Neilson data. You will then build presentations with your findings for the business and customers.
This role will require you to work closely with the commercial teams and other functions with the business. As Category Marketing Manager you will ensure that the business is providing the customer with insight and recommendations. In-house you will ensure that the commercial function can make best use of the market and retailer performance data and consumer research.
The ideal candidate will be degree calibre or equivalent, with a successful background in Category Marketing Management within the Food Manufacturing sector. A key skill we are looking for is commercial acumen - the ability to spot gaps and create opportunities to grow the category.
You will have knowledge of the workings of Retailer category and ranging marketing strategies. The successful candidate will be accustomed to presenting to buyers from Retailers and be a strong influencer.
