Job Details

We are currently working with a Category leader to recruit a Divisional Sales Manager to revolutionise the businesses approach within the wholesale sector.

This is a role which will bridge account management, people management and strategic development and therefore act as a step change role which will eventually take the right person in to Senior Management.

The role

  • You will be responsible for managing a team of area sales managers who are all commercially responsible for their accounts;
  • You will manage a divisional budget of c. £1M and total sales of c. £4-£6M;
  • Your remit will be to maximise Customer and Company sales across all accounts through the effective planning and implementation of company strategy;
  • Provide leadership and guidance and coaching in line with the organisations ways of working to create strong working relationships between Head Office and Field Based employees.

Progression

You will report to the Head of Independents and wholesale and providing you can show a positive step-change in the channel over the next 18-24 months there is the desire for you to make the next step.

You will have the strategic and analytical capabilities to take an innovative approach to identifying opportunities in the market.

You will have the intellect and personable approach to manage, develop and motivate a team.

You will be able to challenge the status quo in the market in order to bring about commercial growth.
