Category Executive
Basic £32-38,000 + excellent benefits
Based: West of London
This global household branded business has invested heavily in product development and as such have plans for significant growth. Based in West London, this is a regional role covering three trade channels. The role of the Category Executive is to assist in developing initiatives aimed at accelerating business growth, and identifying and building best practices across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Analysis:
- Analysis of customer & market data and creation of customer plans
- Support development and deployment of customer strategy
- Manipulation & interpretation of complex datasets to identify & translate key insights
Business Effectiveness :
- Coordination of business plans by customer
- Support development and deployment of customer strategy
- Support creation of overall Customer JBP.
- Track Customer Monthly scorecards
- Involvement in Monthly / Quarterly reviews and reporting
Customer Relationship Management:
- Directly liaise with key contacts at global & national accounts
- Ownership of relationship & joint development of key projects
- Customer presentations to varying levels from merchandiser to buyer
- Support Sales Managers in face to face meetings with senior customer leaders
You will have a minimum 2:1 honours degree with either a placement year within a well known FMCG business or one years post graduate experience within the same. With solid experience in either sales or marketing you will have strong strategic planning and analytical skills. You will enjoy working within a team and truly want to work on your own initiative and take ownership of your responsibilities.
