Hours: 40 per week

ROLE: 

The New Business Executive will assist the Recruitment Managers to achieve effective recruitment of targeted retailers into the SPAR group in accordance with their strategy and marketplace best practice.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team providing support for their New Business Managers, building relationships to ensure a smooth transition for their new business partners.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful sales team operating within the convenience retail sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

a) Assisting the Recruitment Managers in the following: Identifying potential retailers for recruitment, in accordance with A. F. Blakemore criteria.

b) Selling the SPAR brand to potential retailers.

c) Managing the conversion process from sign up to the point of trading.

d) Inducting retailers into the SPAR group prior to trading.

e) Ensuring that appropriate communication links and support are well established at the point of trading.

f) Recruitment Sales and Cost Budgets.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: 

a) A background in convenience retail.

b) Excellent communication skills.

c) Be commercially aware.

d) Sales / customer service experience.

e) Self-starter.

f) Based within the dedicated territory.
