Here at Mars we've been producing high quality chocolate products in the UK for nearly 80 years and you'll recognise our much loved and trusted brands from Mars and Snickers® to Galaxy®, Twix® and Maltesers®. Mars is a company that likes to break with convention and set its own direction. We are looking for a Territory Sales Manager to increase sales within the Independent Retail Trade and drive forward the growth of our chocolate business.

The Territory Development Manager's main focus will be to increase the share of MARS space in-store. Whether you're executing new product launches or implementing new equipment, you'll be instrumental in improving our in store presence and sales. You'll build lasting relationships with store owners and Cash & Carries, managing all aspects of confectionary. The Territory Development Manager will:

• Understand factors that increase and decrease chocolate sales in store
• Deliver quality feedback on Mars and competitors
• Have a strong working knowledge of POR, VAT and margin calculations

The successful Territory Development Manager will be educated to at least 'A' level and will have substantial experience in a customer facing role. We are looking for people from a variety of different backgrounds whether it be from an FMCG company, other industries or a recent graduate. You'll be self-motivated, a self-starter and have the independence to work alone. Your IT and communication skills will be second to none and you'll be proud of your attention to detail. Planning and prioritisation is vital; the successful co-ordinator will shine in a fast-moving environment. You'll have a can-do attitude and excellent negotiation skills.

A full driving licence is essential as this role covers our East Anglia territory.
