Job Details

Paul Nyman Consultancy are currently recruiting an experienced National Account Manager for a nationally recognised chilled dairy business in a home based role.

The Business

This business is a major player in the chilled dairy sector and run a portfolio of own-label and branded products several of which are top 5 sellers within their category. Customers of the business include top 4 supermarkets, with one of the relationships alone worth some £60m. The company's standing within the FMCG market is built upon it's will and desire for NPD using analysis of current category trends.

The Role

The company is looking for a National Account Manager with proven top 4 experience to join the team and report to the National Accounts Controller. The role will require delivery of targets within the agreed budget parameters. As National Account Manager you will be required to liaise with the category manager in the implementation of initiatives, with a big focus on creating tailor made shopper promotions in co-operation with the shopper manager. The ability to build and sustain long-term relationships at various levels will be key to succeeding in the role. The Individual

Our client is looking for someone with previous account management experience, including P&L responsibility preferably within the FMCG market. The successful applicant will also possess an excellent track-record in relationship management with top 4 customers including the design and implementation of JBP's. As the role is target oriented, self-motivation, ambition and passion for the business are essential qualities. In addition, the customer facing nature of the role will require an individual who is likeable, good at building relationships, whilst also possessing the ability to negotiate effectively.
