Our client is a leading brand in the UK and they are looking for a talented individual to join their team.
The Buyer will be responsible for:
- Sourcing and developing new items for the own label range
- Negotiating with existing suppliers
- Analysing and reviewing promotional plans
- Planning, negotiating and delivering the trading budgets
- Driving category growth
KPI’s include
- Income vs budget
- Participation of own label range
- Reduction of net cost prices
- Product availability
You will be a strong negotiator and have previous food buying experience within any food product area such as fresh, chilled, frozen or grocery.
Candidates with a foodservice / wholesale buying background will also be considered
