EBLEX is the organisation for beef and lamb levy payers in England. It is responsible for the setting, execution and monitoring of English strategic priorities and levy spending. EBLEX exists to enhance the profitability and sustainability of the English beef and lamb sector. Its aims are to help the beef and sheep meat supply chain become more efficient and to add value to the beef and sheep meat industry.

Home based with extensive travel throughout the UK

Working closely with the Marketing Manager (Quality Schemes), the primary purpose of this position is to manage daily running of EBLEX’s Quality Standard Mark scheme. A key priority is to exploit opportunities for assured beef and lamb products and influence the English market.

You will ideally have experience in food assurance scheme management and technical audit insight and be able to manage external certification bodies and management agencies. Using your own initiative, knowledge and experience, you will be able to make recommendations and deliver upon them to maximise potential of the scheme.

You will have exceptional organisational skills and the ability to communicate with businesses across the sector supply chain. The role also requires an individual who can proactively identify trends and opportunities from the QSM data suite.
