This is a Senior National Account Manager position with a blue-chip FMCG food business known for a portfolio of iconic brands and pioneering marketing campaigns. Our client is known as a people focussed business allowing individuals to create their own career path and develop their commercial experience across sales, category and brand marketing. The business is a leader in its category and this is a rare opportunity to join a blue-chip business that maintains an entrepreneurial, autonomous and rewarding culture.

Reporting into the Head of Grocery the main objective of the role will be to manage and develop existing business with top 4 grocery multiples, primarily Asda, Sainsburys and Morrisons. Key responsibilities will include developing Joint Business Plans with your customers to deliver objectives, taking full P&L responsibility, managing promotional activity and maintaining and improving profitability. You will also be responsible for the creation and delivery of the strategy and working closely with marketing teams to achieve results.

The successfully candidate will be a degree educated high achieving Senior National Account Manager or National Account Manager currently in a branded FMCG company. You will have experience of managing a top 4 grocery account with the ability to demonstrate that you can think from a category perspective and hold excellent communication skills. This is a unique opportunity to take responsibility for strategically important accounts in a highly visible role.
