Job Details
A Leading FMCG business based in Middlesex is seeking a Lead Marketing, Strategy & Planning Manager to be responsible for driving distribution, profitable sales, brand & category growth leading a team. This role will support the sales & marketing teams with brand sell-in, execution management and reviews, promotional planning, brand development and giving clear communication and direction to sales teams.
Key responsibilities will be to:
- Work with brand teams to ensure all NPD is fully scoped and ‘challenged’ in order to gain maximum traction with customers & shoppers
- Lead, manage and develop a team.
- Deploy Brand Plans & Strategies to the trade & review
- Creation & communication of sell presentations to support all key marketing activities, i.e. NPD launches, promotion upsells & range prioritisation
- Supporting key external account brand presentations
- Assist the Lead MS&P manager in identifying growth opportunities by brand, by account and driving the idea through to execution.
- Communication and tracking of key activities / launches within the channel brand plans
- Provision of channel lead to support category & brand communication and deployment for the defined channels of RTM, Retail & Grocery.
Suitable candidates will come from the FMCG industry with either food or non-food experience but must have either pure MS&P, Category & Sales experience or be an analytical senior national account manager. Candidates also may come from a retail buying background, but must have had commercial FMCG supplier side experience previously in their career. Strong communication, analytical, commercial and stakeholder management experience are essential to success in this role. Management experience is essential.
