Job Details

Our client is a food manufacturer, supplying bakery products into the Wholesale/Foodservice sector. They are a rapidly growing company, and are seeking to expand their Sales team with a SouthernSales Manager.

This exciting role will report in to the Sales Director and will work on developing further the existing accounts with Wholesalers. This position is an excellent opportunity to work with a growing manufacturer.

The role will be home based, with customer visits as required. This position is suitable for candidates based in the South of England, South East or East Anglia regions.

The role

• Maintaining and extending the range of products listed with Wholesalers.
• Identifying and pursuing regional Key Accounts opportunities.
• Carrying out presentations to Wholesalers, including presentations at conferences and exhibitions.
• Carrying out market research, competitor surveys and customer surveys.

The Candidate

• The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the Food industry
• Be able to hit the ground running, working independently with minimum supervision.
• Be comfortable handling a portfolio of Wholesalers worth over £1million.
