Responsiblities

As a commercial analyst with us at Greencore you will be focused on improving our commercial performance through the analysis of commercial data from our partners. This can range from identifying global sales trends through to individual store performance around sales patterns and wastage. This will then allow you to identify and opportunities for improvement and growth.

Along with this the key responsibilities for the role are:
  • Supporting the Head of Commercial Finance through the delivery of the short-medium term needs and objectives of the Commercial Finance function
  • Identifying areas for potential volume and margin growth and enhancement
  • Providing insight for the wider business, and our Customer, into where profitability could be improved or developed
  • Providing insightful analysis of our own, and our Customer's, performance
You will also be keen to find out how your skills can apply to other areas of the business to look to add value into each and every department. Succesful driving of this would potentially lead to a roll out of Qlikview across site.
Along with this you will be looked upon to develop and maintain a consistent process, with the support of the business managers, for reviewing and taking action on actual margin analysis utilising a cross-functional team.

Skills & Experience

The role requires an analyst who ideally has knowledge and understanding of Qlikview, with the skill to spot key trends, recommend action and show leadership in improvement projects.

Great interpersonal skills with colleagues across all levels is a must as after spotting a trend or an issue you'll need to be able to communicate and sell your solution to the relevant stakeholders.

You will have strong finance and business acumen with excellent IT skills.
