National Account Manager – Fresh Produce, branded & own label food
As one of the country’s largest fresh produce businesses, and distributors, with a powerful portfolio of food products their products are enjoyed across the globe! The business have an outstanding success by exceeding against customer expectation levels and this is showing of late with business growing significantly with even bigger expansion plans over the next year! The business is proud to supply a number of major multiple retailers, Top 4, and food processers across the UK. With purpose built, state of the art premises for growing the fresh produce as well as separate office buildings, it’s a place where you will be given the freedom to help set the strategy towards even greater success!
The Role
As the successful National Account Manager, you will work across Grocery accounts including, Asda, Morrison’s & Tesco. The key aspect of this role will be daily interaction with other functions within the business, applicants will need to demonstrate success in working as part of a cross functional team including working closely with management. As the successful National Account Manager you will be responsible for developing and recommending account strategies to maximise the sales and delivery margins from the accounts under your management.
The successful National Account Manager will:
- Currently hold the position of, National Account Manager, Senior National Account Manager, Business Account Manager, Business Manager, Customer Account Manager or equivalent.
- Understanding of category management.
- Have experience of fresh produce – this is essential
- Have experience of managing top 4 / Co-op / Occado
- Be able to manage every aspect, and exceed customer expectations
In Return you will receive a salary between £40,000 - £45,000 + bonus + car allowance
