Up to £60,000 + car + bonus

My client is a £65m manufacturer of frozen foods, specialising in products within the meat and fish, bakery, grocery and dessert categories. They have presence across the world, and supply the retail, foodservice and wholesale channels. As a business, they have brilliant staff retention and most of the managers have been there long term and progressed through the ranks. The company has considerable experience in the provision and development of customer own-brand ranges. However, they also produce under their well respected brands. Due to recent growth, they are looking to add a National Account Manger to their team.

As National Account Manager, you will be responsible for £15m of Asda business. You will be joining a team of 4 current National Account Managers, reporting into the Sales Director. You will be expected to use your excellent relationship building skills in order to make a quick impact with buyers, and also use your commercial and analytical abilities to help drive sales and profitability. Your tasks will include management of forecast and overall accountability for the stock, understanding customer requirements, day to day management of the set customer base and maintaining systems for pricing and promotions.

To be considered for this role, you must be an ambitious, driven and entrepreneurial individual. Grocery experience is essential, preferably Asda, and branded or own label experience would be considered. You must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have the ability to work on your own as well as in a team.
