Buyer - Cards & Gifts

My client is a highly successful multi-product retailer with a significant number of stores in the UK and Europe making them one of the largest retailers of their type. Due to continued expansion an opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Buyer within the Stationery Team.

As the Buyer you will take responsibility for your own product area in a varied and fast paced role as well as being responsible for working with the Senior Buyer to source the product, dealing with suppliers and big name brands as well as ensuring the successful sign off of products. You will liaise with internal departments to ensure the successful launch of your product within store and will be able to influence on promotional activity across your product ranges as well as monitoring the continued sales. This role will give you the opportunity to build upon your budgeting, forecasting and negotiating skills.


To be considered for this role you will be working within a retail or wholesale environment and whilst it is desirable to have knowledge of the category, other fast moving / high volume category experience will be considered. It is however imperative that you are willing to learn about these products and become an expert in your field. of graduate calibre, you will be an analytical and ambitious individual who is also commercially adept.
