A global drinks brand is looking to bring on board 2 new dedicated and ambitious individuals within their “on-trade” channel to maximise volume, profit and net revenue targets.
Role: 1.National Account Controller

The Opportunity
A leading drinks organisation is looking for 2 individuals to re-shape their on trade channel to take control of a £30million portfolio of National Accounts for a global, iconic, premium drinks company.
These are challenging roles that require a strong character to potentially mould and develop the direction and strategy of the business by interacting closely with the wider business including Field Sales, National Account and marketing teams. This job requires a passionate person who lives the brand who isn’t afraid of pushing for a result. Key Responsibilities…
* Responsibilities will include the planning, development and implementing of key trading strategies within the sector.
* Build strong relationships with key personnel both within the business and cross functionally within our customers. Manage customer relationships both internally and externally
* Own relationships with external customer regional and format contacts to deliver brand and commercial plans with excellence.
* Work with an enterprise-wide approach and within a structured pricing / trading platform to ensure the sustainable growth.
* Responsible for the planning and implementation of brand building activity across a ledger of National accounts, delivering world class brand activations.
* Support the National Account Controller and sales director through the provision of strong financial account management & analysis.
* Negotiate and implement trading relationships that grow brands in the right outlets.
* Accurately forecast volume, value & margin.
* Create and implement account development plans that drive brands / skus.
The Person
* Experience in dealing with experienced buyers, regional contacts and other key customer contacts. A track record of superior customer relationships.
* Experience in working with, influencing and leading internal colleagues across different functions.
* Relevant commercial sales responsibility in a successful FMCG business at NAM/NAC level.
* Understands how money is made; has managed a P&L and has a proven track record of P&L growth & mix management.
* Has an excellent understanding of their sector and how premium products are sold within it.
* Excellent history of negotiations with a proven track record within a results driven culture.
* A structured approach to problem solving.
* Leadership skills, a strong team player with proven track record of project management and the ability to work cross functionally.
* An individual that has the courage and conviction to not only make considered and well-presented decisions, but to stand by them.
* Ability to seek out and generate new business.
